1. What is SecureNow?

SecureNow is a new security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your Online and Mobile Banking experience. It verifies your identity during login by sending a secure, one‑time code to your chosen device. This helps ensure that only you can access your account—even if your password becomes compromised.

2. Why is SecureNow being added?

Your security is our highest priority. SecureNow strengthens your protection against:

  • Unauthorized account access
  • Password theft
  • Fraudulent login attempts

SecureNow uses industry‑standard multi‑factor authentication to help safeguard your financial information.

3. When will SecureNow be required?

SecureNow will begin on March 24, 2026. After that date, you will be prompted to enroll the next time you log in to Online or Mobile Banking.

4. What should I do to prepare for SecureNow?

Before SecureNow goes live, please log in to your online banking profile and verify that your cell phone number & email are correct and up to date.
This ensures you can receive verification codes by text message (SMS) if you choose that method.

5. How does SecureNow work?

When you log in:

  1. Enter your username and password
  2. SecureNow sends a one‑time verification code
  3. You enter the code to complete your login

This second step confirms your identity and protects your account.

6. What verification options can I choose from?

You will be able to choose how you want to receive your SecureNow code:

  • Text message (SMS)
  • Email verification

You can update your method at any time after enrollment.

7. Will I need to use SecureNow every time I log in?

Not always. You may have the option to “trust” your device.
You may be asked to verify again if:

  • You log in using a new device
  • You clear your browser history or cookies
  • Your device settings change
  • Unusual login activity is detected

8. What if my cell phone number or email is incorrect?

To use SecureNow, your contact information must be accurate.
Please log in to your Online Banking profile and update your:

  • Cell phone number
  • Email address

9. What if I don’t have a cell phone?

You may choose email verification as your preferred method.

10. Will SecureNow work with the Mobile Banking App?

Yes. Once you have completed enrollment in SecureNow.  After enrollment, you may not need to verify again on trusted devices unless additional security checks are required.

11. What if I don’t receive my verification code?

Try these steps:

  1. Confirm your phone number or email is correct in your profile
  2. Check your spam or junk folder (for email codes)
  3. Ensure your mobile carrier isn’t blocking short code messages
